Hello from Stockholm, Sweden

I just landed in Stockholm, Sweden after over a 3 and a half hour delay at JFK due to weather! The past is the past, though, and I’m looking forward to seeing a part of Europe I’ve never seen before!

I used my EU passport to gain entry into Sweden efficiently and quickly boarded the Arlanda Express which is a 20 minute train that connects the airport with the city center!

Once I arrive, I’ll meet up with a friend of mine from Penn State, Trish, and her husband, Chuck. They moved to Sweden right after college and I’ve been trying to come visit for years!

Tomorrow night, I’ll meet up with a Contiki tour group & I’ll travel with them for the next two weeks from Stockholm to Helsinki, Finland to Saint Petersburg, Novgorod & Moscow in Russia to Minsk, Belarus and finally to Warsaw, Poland. After Warsaw, I’ll have a one day layover in Copenhagen where I’ll try to see as much of the city as I can!
